SUBMISSION POLICIES

Copyright Policy
Abstracts must not contain libellous or defamatory content. All material presented must comply with copyright laws.

If figures, graphics, or images are sourced from materials not copyrighted by the author, it is the author’s sole responsibility to obtain written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce them for both worldwide print and online publication.

Any reproduction costs charged by the copyright holder must be borne by the author.

Resubmission Policy
An abstract that has been previously published or presented at a national, regional, or international meeting may be submitted, provided it includes new methods, findings, updated information, or other valid justifications for resubmission.

If preliminary or partial data have been published or presented previously, the submitting author must provide full details of the publication or presentation. This information will be reviewed by the ENDO 2026 Scientific Committee when making final decisions.

If the author fails to provide the required details and justification, or if evidence of prior publication or presentation is discovered, the abstract will be rejected.

Plagiarism Policy
The congress organisers regard plagiarism as a serious professional misconduct. If plagiarism is identified, the abstract, along with any other abstracts submitted by the same author, will be rejected.

REVIEW AND SELECTION PROCESS

Abstract Review
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process conducted by an international review committee. The ENDO 2026 Scientific Committee uses abstract scores and rankings to develop the final congress programme and select abstracts for oral or ePoster presentation at ENDO 2026.

Abstract/Video Presentation
A small number of the highest-scoring abstracts will be selected for presentation in oral presentation sessions; the majority of the abstracts will be displayed in the ePoster exhibition. Submitters who do not wish to be considered for oral presentation have the option of selecting "ePoster" to be considered for ePoster presentation.

Notification of acceptance or rejection to the corresponding author
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the submitting (corresponding) author. Please note that only the corresponding author will receive an email concerning the status and is responsible for informing all co-authors. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will receive instructions for the presentation of their abstract/video.
If an author is invited to present and does not confirm their participation, the abstract/video may be withdrawn. Declined invitations will result in the automatic withdrawal of the abstract/video.

Common reasons for rejection:

  • Abstract is poorly written
  • Clear objective and/or hypothesis is missing
  • Linkage between different parts of the abstract is unclear or difficult to understand
  • Summary of essential results is inadequate or missing

ABSTRACT WITHDRAWAL

An abstract may be withdrawn upon written request by the submitting author. Requests for withdrawal must be made by 10 April 2026. After this date, we cannot guarantee that a withdrawn abstract will be excluded from publication. Withdrawal requests must include the submitting author’s name and the abstract title. To withdraw an abstract, please contact: scientific@worldendo2026.org
